  I'm convinced that it was divine intervention that brought us to Thrush Performance as we were driving south on the Garden State Parkway this past Saturday at 12:30 pm. Without warning, the ignition ignition light on my Ford Explorer came on and the amp gauge went to total discharge. Seconds later, all gauges went to the off position, and I knew I was seconds away from a very bad day. Luck was with us as we were close to the 9 South exit to South Amboy. A short distance on the right and I pulled into Thrush Performance's driveway. A recent resident of Maryland, now living in Spring Lake, I was clueless as to where to go and who to trust but it was as if the hand of the Almighty steered me and directed me there. Immediately, I knew we were in good hands. Despite the fact that we were only minutes away from the Saturday's closing time, we were treated like family. Following immediate diagnosis by knowledgeable and professional staff, we went inside to get a repair cost quote. The staff hurried to insure that the part was ordered for immediate delivery and we were offered soda, donuts and other options, gratis, while we waited. The staff was warm and inviting, we were made to feel like family. While we waited, a parade of customers came in for service and to pick up their repaired cars. All were treated with utmost respect, all left happy. The atmosphere in the shop is very positive, the energy level electric !
  What could have been a nightmare scenario ended up being a minor inconvenience with the added bonus of finding a quality shop to do all our repair work from now on. I would rate my experience 10 stars if I could. If you are interested in finding an honest shop that will keep your car on the road for the long haul, using quality parts without trying to up-sell unneeded parts and service, look no further.... fair, fast, friendly..very professional!
